管理人の声（Message from site founder）
４月１日にこのサイトを開設以来、多くの取材依頼をちょうだいしております。
管理人として、あえて名前を公表しておりませんでしたが、
多くの方から「主催者の顔が見えない」とご指摘をいただき、
大震災から一カ月経過した本日、４月11日に管理人として
名前を公表する運びとなりました。
管理人はきき酒師であり、エッセイスト、酒ジャーナリストの
葉石かおり（はいしかおり）です。

●サイトを作成した理由
今回の大震災により、結婚式に出席させていただいた蔵元や、
懇意にしている蔵元の多くが被災されました。
電話してもつながらず、また迷惑になることもあり、
しばらくの間、なんの情報もないままジリジリとすごしました。
２週間経過し、ガマンできなくなり、電話すると留守番電話。
用件のみ手短に入れ、しばらくしてバックがきました。
元気そうな蔵元の声を聞き、涙がとめどなくあふれ、
声にならない声で対応したのを今も忘れられません。
「酒に携わるジャーナリストとして何かできることはないか？」
そう考えた時、思い立ったのがこのサイトの立ち上げです。
日本酒造組合中央会に協力をいただいてお酒の瓶を集めて撮影し、
慣れぬ手つきでサイトを１日で造り上げました。
お恥ずかしいですが、現在も製作途中ではあります。
日本酒を愛する者として、そしてジャーナリストのはしくれとして、
こうした情報発信をするのは当たり前のことだと思っています。
このサイトをご高覧いただいたのをきっかけに、日本酒に興味を抱き、
また東北の酒を応援していただければ幸いです。

サイトの運営、運営費はあくまでも管理人が個人で負担しております。

Since starting this website on 1 April,
I received a lot of interview requests. Initially,
I did not wish to announce my identity but I decided to do so on 11 April, just one month after the great earthquake.
I am Kaori Haishi, a sake sommelier, essayist and sake journalist.

*The reason I created this site
There are many breweries I know well that have been devastated by the earthquake.
Calling them shortly after it struck, I left a message on the answering machine.
When they called me back, I cried, but I can clearly remember the moment I heard their voices.
“Is there anything I can do as a sake journalist?” I wondered.
That's how I struck on the idea of launching this site.
With help from the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, I collected sake bottles to photo-shoot and created this site in just one day, although it is of course still in development.
As a sake lover and journalist, delivering information is essential.
I hope this site is able to provide interesting information and helps enhance your enjoyment of Tohoku sake.

Although the sake bottles are borrowed, this site is organized by owners individually.

*About Information collection
I am in contact with sake breweries associations in Miyagi, Iwate and Chiba to collect the information, which they have provided by email. In addition, readers and retailers have provided photos.
I would be unable to complete this by myself.
This is indeed a site supported by Japanese sake lovers.
